Kill Streaks
Kill fast, one after another, for bonus experience. From Multi Kill to Apocalypse, plus streaks for breaking barrels and crates.
How a streak works
Each kill within 2.5 seconds of the one before keeps the streak going. A longer pause ends it.
- From the first checkpoint a counter appears in the middle of the screen and counts up with every kill.
- Each checkpoint you pass shakes the screen and the phone, harder the further you go.
- When the streak ends, you see its name, the final count and your bonus.
- If you die or load a save during a streak, the streak is lost.
Kills from anything you do count: weapon hits, spells, and enemies that burn or freeze to death after you have moved on.
| Checkpoint | Kills in a row | Bonus |
|---|---|---|
| Multi Kill | 5 | +10% |
| Massacre | 8 | +15% |
| Carnage | 12 | +20% |
| Slaughter | 17 | +30% |
| Bloodbath | 25 | +40% |
| Butchery | 35 | +50% |
| Annihilation | 50 | +75% |
| Apocalypse | 75 | +100% |
The bonus
The bonus is a share of the experience the streak's kills were worth. Every enemy is worth its own experience however it died, and the bonus goes to the skill category you last earned experience in.
Between two checkpoints the share keeps growing with every kill, so a streak just short of the next checkpoint is not wasted. A streak never gives more than 100% on top of what its kills were worth.
Breaking things
Barrels, crates and other breakables build their own streak, with the same rules and window. Breakables give no experience of their own, so each one counts as 25 experience toward the bonus. Breaking things never adds to a kill streak, and killing never adds to a breaking streak.
